How do we design for rebirth amidst times of collapse?
During these critical times, we’re seeding the call for (r)Evolutionaries, those who are ready to create commUnity and shared solutions, to apply to join the fourth cohort of the Design Science Studio (DSS).
In a time when commUnity is crucial, the DSS experience offers an incubator of support where collaboration, creativity and collective care are central. Through the curriculum, the salons and a constellation of shared resources and relationships, each cohort member is supported to ignite their imagination and chart truly evolutionary pathways forward.
As part of our commitment to the Design Science Decade, reconciliation, restoration, resilience, and re-enchantment are tenets that we uphold in our design science process. This experience as a DSS member is designed to empower all of us, as the next wave of visionary thought leaders working to build equitable and just futures from the inside out.
Rooted in the Design Science Decade, Grounded in CommUnity
The Design Science Studio is rooted in integrity, in identifying and serving the whole, and to do this the program starts by serving each member’s whole self. With consistent but flexible program events, the Design Science curriculum begins with you, with your whole life and work-life balance in mind.
Every week, the DSS incubator offers ways to feed your creative process.
From weekly required sessions [Tuesdays and Thursdays | 8am-10am PT] to optional sessions that include Wellness Wednesdays and Friday Fireside chats, DSS provides you with space to choose your own adventure; to pull what you need from the calendar of offerings.
All required sessions are recorded so you can view them on your own time or rewatch a session you attended live; allowing you to experience the content in an on-demand format.
Wellness Wednesdays - Grounding sessions based in well-being for the mind, body and spirit.
Friday Fireside Chats - Educational sessions hosted by coheART members about subject matter they are passionate about.
A Curriculum Rooted in Regeneration
Designing Futures & Renewed Worlds
Participants learn comprehensive anticipatory design science, futurism, world-building and biophilic design — tools for imagining, prototyping and architecting futures where people and planet thrive. We explore how imagination becomes infrastructure for real-world change.
Systems Change & Social Transformation
Through deep ecology, systemic and social change theory, and decolonial practice, we study the roots of our current global crises — and develop the capacity to shift systems, power dynamics and cultural narratives toward equity, belonging and regenerative possibility.
Story, Experience & Imagination as Tools for Change
We activate imagination as a form of activism, learning ontological and experience design, story-ARTchitecture and narrative strategy. This supports creators in building immersive worlds, meaningful experiences and compelling stories that move hearts, shape culture and inspire action.
Community in Action: The Salons + The Summit
These 3 DSS salons and culminating summit are immersive creative gatherings where our commUnity shares work-in-progress with each other and the public, exploring emerging ideas and practices bringing regenerative futures to life. They honor intention and process just as much as polished outcomes — creating space to imagine, experiment and evolve together.
Performances, exhibits, workshops, talks, experiences - all pART of our collective re-membering as a commUnity of practice and broader movement for the flourishing of all.
Salon 1 | Online [February 22, 2026]
We are re-membering ourselves as future ancestors, birthing a renaissance of care, courage and imagination.
A celebration of the emerging cultural renaissance rooted in regeneration, where art, imagination and collective action converge to birth a new world that works for all life.
It centers on the personal and collective becoming required to transform society toward ecological and creative flourishing.
Salon 2 | Online [March 22, 2026]
We dissolve into soil, into story, into possibility — and bloom into futures seeded by love and interdependence.
A meditation on transformation as a natural and necessary process: dissolving outdated systems, identities and separations from nature, and blooming into regenerative, interconnected ways of being rooted in creativity, ecology and collective evolution.
Salon 3 | Online [April 26, 2026]
We learn to see the threads beneath the world — and weave new ones.
An exploration of uncovering and illuminating the hidden systems, stories and truths shaping our world — transforming what has been overlooked or obscured into shared awareness, wisdom and regenerative possibility.
Summit | Online [June 19+20] + In Person [July 3-5, 2026]
A city of imagination rises — calling us home to the future we long for.
Culminating celebration and collective launch of coheART 4 projects.
A collective awakening into the Regenerative Era — a global cultural shift where creators dissolve outdated paradigms and activate futures rooted in interdependence, imagination and planetary thriving.
It is a global convergence of visionary creativity and systems thinking to catalyze a world that works for ALL of Life.
Optional + Encouraged In Person Retreat after the summit [July 6-8, 2026]
In living celebration we root with the land, integrate with each other and move through this Evolutionary right of passage for whats next, together.
